Ewan is an HCPC-registered Paramedic but currently works as a Project Coordinator, managing large healthcare construction projects across Scotland. He also sits on the board as a Trustee for The Scottish Council for Voluntary Organisations (SCVO).

 

Having served as an Ambulance Care Assistant, Student Paramedic and a qualified Paramedic, Ewan knows firsthand the impact that traumatic incidents can have on the mental health of Emergency workers. One particular incident significantly affected Ewan's mental health, leading him to leave his full-time position as a Paramedic.

This experience highlighted the challenges Emergency workers face in accessing Trauma-Focused psychological treatment. Driven by his own difficulties, Ewan founded Blue Light Minds to help others in similar situations easily find and access the support they need.
