On Friday 7th February 2025, we hosted our very first fundraising and awareness event at the stunning Voco Grand Central in Glasgow, and what an unforgettable night it was.

With 160 guests in attendance, the evening was filled with laughter, connection, generosity, and purpose. From the moment guests were welcomed with a live pianist and drinks reception, through to the luxurious buffet, quiz, games, and dancing late into the night, the energy in the room was something truly special.

Thanks to the incredible support of everyone who attended, along with those who donated, volunteered, or contributed raffle prizes, we’re delighted to announce that the event raised a remarkable £11,311 for Blue Light Minds.

This funding will help us continue delivering free, specialist Trauma-Focused psychological therapy to Emergency Service workers in Scotland affected by trauma.

Speaking after the event, our Founder and Chairman, Ewan Hay, said:

“We were blown away by the kindness and support shown on the night. To raise over £11,000 at our very first event is incredible, but more than that, it was a powerful reminder of the community standing behind our cause. Every conversation, every donation, every moment of the night brought us closer to ensuring no one in uniform faces their struggles alone.”

From heartfelt speeches to fun and games like Higher or Lower and Pass It On, the night struck the perfect balance between celebration and purpose. We’re deeply grateful to everyone who helped make it a success, and we’re already looking forward to next year!
